Welcome to Hanioo. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access and use of our mobile application (the "Platform"), made available by HONEY UNIVERSAL DIGITAL PRIVATE LIMITED, a company registered under the Companies Act, 2013, having its registered office at Door No.210/211, Rahat Plaza, 2nd Floor 172, Arcot Road, Vadapalani, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, 600026 (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"). This application allows users ("Clients") to book interpreters ("Service Providers") for language translation services.

By using our Platform, you agree to abide by these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using this Platform.

Scope of Services

1.1 Hanioo acts as an aggregator platform that connects Clients with Independent Service Providers for translation services, facilitating seamless communication between parties who require interpretation assistance in various languages.
1.2 We do not directly provide interpretation services; instead, we facilitate seamless connections between clients and independent service providers (interpreters). Through our technological infrastructure (Application), we ensure a user-friendly experience. Please note that these service providers are not employees of the "Hanioo" platform.
1.3 The Platform allows Clients to browse, book, schedule, and securely pay for interpretation services through our system, offering a convenient way to connect with qualified professionals in real time.
1.4 The Platform may include additional features such as rating and reviewing interpreters.

User Accounts

2.1 To access our services, users must create an account and provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information, ensuring transparency and smooth interactions on the Platform.
2.2 Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials, including usernames and passwords.
2.3 We reserve the right to verify user identities and request supporting documentation to maintain the integrity and trustworthiness of the Platform.
2.4 We may suspend or terminate accounts in cases of fraudulent activity, misrepresentation, abusive behavior, or any other violation of these Terms, ensuring a safe environment for all users.
2.5 The Service is not available to individuals under the age of 18. You must not permit anyone under 18 to receive interpretation or translation services from external interpreters unless they are accompanied by you.

Booking, Payment, and Cancellation

3.1 Clients can browse available interpreters, view their profiles, and book services based on their specific language needs, availability, and expertise levels.
3.2 All payments are securely processed through our trusted payment gateway, Razorpay, ensuring safe and reliable transactions. Payment must be made at the time of booking the scheduled service. For security reasons, we do not store any sensitive payment information on our servers.
3.3 Clients must adhere to the pricing structure displayed on the Platform, and all payments must be completed before the commencement of services unless otherwise agreed upon.
3.4 Cancellations and refunds are subject to our cancellation policy, which may vary based on factors such as the timing of the cancellation and the nature of the booking.
3.5 If a Service Provider cancels a confirmed booking, the Client may be eligible for a refund or request an alternative interpreter as a replacement.

Service Provider Responsibilities

4.1 Interpreters must provide professional, accurate, and timely services to Clients, maintaining high ethical standards and professionalism at all times.
4.2 We do not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or availability of any particular Service Provider, and Clients must assess whether an interpreter meets their specific needs.
4.3 Service Providers operate as independent contractors and are not employees, representatives, or agents of Hanioo. They are solely responsible for the quality of services they provide.
4.4 Service Providers are expected to comply with local laws and regulations concerning language interpretation and professional conduct.
4.5 The Registered Service Provider must be an individual.

User Conduct and Community Guidelines

5.1 Users must use the Platform lawfully and ethically, ensuring respectful interactions with other users.
5.2 Harassment, abuse, discrimination, or any form of inappropriate behavior toward any user or Service Provider is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate suspension or termination of the account.
5.3 Users agree not to circumvent the Platform's booking system by attempting to engage interpreters outside the Platform for services initiated through Hanioo.
5.4 Misuse of the Platform, including fraudulent bookings, fake reviews, or impersonation, is strictly prohibited and may lead to legal action.
5.5 Customers are solely responsible for any data, information, or materials they share with interpreters through the platform. Hanioo does not assume any liability for the confidentiality, accuracy, or misuse of such data by interpreters. Customers should exercise discretion and provide only the necessary information during interpretation or translation sessions.

Liability, Warranties, and Disclaimers

6.1 Hanioo acts only as an intermediary and is not responsible for the quality, timeliness, or accuracy of interpretation services provided by Service Providers.
6.2 We do not provide any guarantees or warranties regarding the availability, reliability, or performance of any interpreter or service.
6.3 To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform or services booked through it.
6.4 Users acknowledge that interpretation services may vary based on factors such as dialects, regional language differences, and contextual complexities, and Hanioo cannot be held accountable for any misinterpretations.
6.5 In no event shall the total liability of Hanioo and its external interpreters with respect to you and the services for all damages, losses, and actions exceed Five Hundred Euros (€500).

Privacy and Data Protection

7.1 We collect, store, and process user data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, ensuring compliance with relevant data protection regulations.
7.2 By using the Platform, you consent to our collection and use of your personal data, which may include contact information, booking history, and usage analytics.
7.3 We employ industry-standard security measures to protect user data; however, users acknowledge that no online system is entirely risk-free.
7.4 Users may request data access, modification, or deletion as per applicable laws and our privacy practices.

Amendments, Termination, and Modifications

8.1 We reserve the right to update, modify, or amend these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the Platform signifies acceptance of the updated Terms.
8.2 We may terminate or suspend user accounts at our discretion for violations of these Terms or any other reason deemed necessary to maintain the integrity of the Platform.
8.3 In the event of termination, any pending transactions or obligations must still be fulfilled, unless otherwise specified.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

9.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
9.2 Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through arbitration or the courts in India, as per the dispute resolution procedures outlined in our policies.
9.3 Users agree to attempt amicable resolution before initiating formal legal proceedings.
